Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Phlebotomist for fulltime night shift (32 hours/week) to perform specimen collection, processing and delivery within a multi-location network. The role emphasizes accuracy in patient identification, data entry, and adherence to quality standards.

You will work in various settings (hospital/PSC/IOP/MDS) and may travel to different locations with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
• Valid state driver’s license where employed and eligibility for company auto insurance.
• Float positions require travel and flexible hours to cover multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection with correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests, and billing data accurately.
• Maintain quality and comply with policies, HIPAA requirements and department procedures.
