Qualifications

• HS diploma required; 12 months phlebotomy experience or national certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy and specimen collection in varied hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing using venipuncture, capillary puncture, and other techniques.
• Adhere to laboratory safety and regulatory standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate procedures and instructions empathetically to patients and families.
• On-call shifts and holiday rotations as needed by department.
