Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Preferred.
• Twelve months of phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor, Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing (venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, throat swabs).
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety standards.
• Communicate procedures empathetically with patients and families.
• Participate in code response teams and ongoing quality assurance.
• Perform advanced collection techniques and troubleshooting.
• Support specimen processing and downtime planning.
