Qualifications

• Must possess certification/licensing in Phlebotomy.
• Five years of experience in the field preferred.
• Knowledgeable about OSHA and effective teaching techniques for adult learners and test prep.
• Ability to maintain and schedule evening/night courses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
• Computer skills including MS Word, Internet and Intranet access.

Responsibilities

• Prepares student semester reports and maintains daily records.
• Monitors and records student progress using formal and informal methods.
• Provides academic advising and assists with job placement.
• Instructs students on applying knowledge to real-life situations.
• Motivates students by adapting to diverse learning styles.
• Participates in orientation, registration and assessment processes.
• Completes annual professional development requirements.
• Maintains confidentiality of work-related information.
• Performs other duties as required.
