ADULT ED - Richmond Technical Center in Richmond, Virginia seeks a part-time CNA Instructor to teach evening and night CNA courses. The instructor should hold CNA instructor certification, have strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to manage schedules for adult learners with diverse backgrounds.

Five years of field experience and knowledge of OSHA standards, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and online resources, are preferred.

Formación

• Must possess required certification or license and skill in CNA Instructor.
• Five years of experience in the field is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and effective teaching techniques for all levels of basic adult skills and testing prep.
• Ability to maintain and establish evening/night course schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares student semester reports and maintains daily records.
• Provides academic advising and job placement assistance.
• Drives engagement by adapting to diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
• Participates in department trainings, meetings and graduation activities.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows policies and procedures.
