Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Montgomery, AL team. The role involves blood collections, specimen handling, and assisting patients with care, while maintaining accurate records and billing data as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or related training, with 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred. The position requires vaccination and offers opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
