Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Dorchester, MA. Schedule: Monday–Friday 4:00 pm–8:30 pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training. Preferred candidates have LabCorp experience and 6+ months in phlebotomy, with flexibility for overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred LabCorp experience and 6 months or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
