Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist for 20 hours per week, with evening shifts and weekend coverage. You will receive patients, collect registration data, order tests, and generate specimen labels, then escort patients to phlebotomy services.

You will perform phlebotomy on diverse patient populations and handle clerical tasks such as data entry, record retrieval, and filing. This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit and reports to the Phlebotomy Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with phlebotomy-related credentials preferred.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience or completion of a 40-hour clinical rotation preferred.
• Clerical experience and knowledge of medical terminology is required.
