Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Phlebotomy certificate/diploma preferred.
• Six (6) months direct phlebotomy experience or completion of a 40-hour clinical rotation.
• Clerical experience including medical terminology preferred.
• Must be competent in phlebotomy skills by end of introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients and gather registration information.
• Order tests and generate specimen labels.
• Escort patients to phlebotomy services and handle related clerical tasks.
