Job summary

Labcorp in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00pm-6:00pm and Sat 8:00am-1:00pm. Responsibilities include venipuncture collections, processing specimens, and delivering patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
