Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• 1 year’s experience in a pharmacy environment OR 1 year’s experience training other associates/employees.
• Must obtain national certification certificate issued by PTCE or ExCPT within one year of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate certification courses (e.g., Pharmacy Technician University).
• Trains associates in proper operation and troubleshooting of machinery; distributes training materials; reviews training participation.
• Develops training programs and materials in Pharmacy and Health areas; evaluates training effectiveness.
• Collaborates with managers and partners to implement processes and address improvement opportunities.
• Promotes and enforces compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity in training activities.
• Leads and participates in teams to ensure timelines and quality of work.
