Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in professional responsibilities and provides pharmacy services.
• Works under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Participates in preparation, dispensing, distribution and return of patient specific medications including intravenous admixtures.
• Supplies and maintains automated technology equipment.
• Packages units of use dosages; maintains and transports pharmaceuticals.
• Performs tasks related to regulatory compliance and documents activities.
