Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Equivalent.
• Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided.
• WV: Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee License through West Virginia Board of Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Read physicians' orders, prepare medications, deliver medications and drug supplies.
• Read orders and prepare medications including unique dosage forms.
• Maintain records for controlled substances and inventory.
• Label products and perform calculations for dosage determinations.
• Assist in sterile parenteral preparation under supervision.
• Enter parenteral admixture information in pharmacy systems.
