Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a Pennsylvania production pharmacy. You will fill orders, label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active PA Pharmacy Technician license and can work a full-time, onsite schedule with potential overtime. The role emphasizes attention to detail and collaboration with Pharmacists and staff.

Qualifications

• Active, clear Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license issued by the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately pick medications, apply labels, scan products, and prepare prescriptions for final Pharmacist verification.
• Ability to work efficiently in a production‑focused pharmacy environment while maintaining accuracy and workflow.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Pick and pull medications from shelving and designated medication storage areas.
• Apply labels to blister cards and other packaging, and scan medications to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare completed prescriptions for final verification by a Pharmacist.
• Identify medications or products that do not scan correctly and notify the Pharmacist on duty.
