Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare PA, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician- Production to support our long-term care pharmacy operations in Boothwyn, PA. The role focuses on accurately dispensing, labeling, and preparing unit dose packaging for prescriptions, with a strong emphasis on quality checks and orderly workflow.

The position requires a PA Pharmacy Technician license, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active PA State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• When appropriate, prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines.
• When appropriate, pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
