Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site team in Greensburg, PA. This contract position offers full-time hours with two rotating shifts and potential for permanent hire based on attendance and performance.

The role involves supporting pharmacists with prescriptions, IV preparation, and data entry, while maintaining compliance and a clean, safe work environment. Pharmacy tech license in PA and prior experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Pharmacy Tech license in the state of PA.
• Must have previous pharmacy tech experience.
• Ability to work on-site and perform duties under Pharmacist supervision.
• Comfort with data entry and working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Assist with preparing IVs per pharmacy workflow and direction.
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription/patient billing data in the computer system to support reimbursement.
• Support pre-packaging and labeling of medications for dispensing in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with the final-check workflow (as assigned), including staging/packaging for final review and coordinating accurate, timely delivery.
• Support inventory best practices (receiving, rotating stock, documenting lot numbers/expiration dates, and assisting with inventory counts).
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, including basic equipment checks for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).

Details and Compensation

Location: Greensburg, PA – 100% on-site

Payrate: $25 or $25.72/hr - based on shift

Required Availability: Full-Time | 2 Rotating schedule (days vary every 2 weeks) available Must be available all 7 days/week 1st Shift hours: 8am-4:30pm + 9am-5:30pm (25/hr) 2nd Shift hours: 3pm –11pm + 2pm –10pm (25.72/hr) Available to work 2 holidays per year

Summary and Highlights

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist to help fill and prepare prescriptions, support IV preparation, and ensure medications are packaged and prepared in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This role also supports pharmacy operations through accurate data entry, inventory support, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
