Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and labeling medications, handling distribution tasks, and ensuring accurate patient records. The technician will work in the evenings on a 8 on/6 off rotation, with a 1200–2230 shift schedule at the Winston Campus.

The role requires NC board registration within 30 days of hire and CPhT or ExCPT certification within 18 months. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirements.
• North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration required within 30 days of hire.
• Certification through PTCB (CPhT) or NHA ExCPT within 18 months from start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Accurately select, prepare, and label medications for patients including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
