Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk is hiring a Pharmacy Supervisor for full-time evenings. Lead the pharmacy team, coordinate dispensing and inventory, and ensure adherence to hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

In the director’s absence, support Clinical Pharmacy leadership and manage daily operations. The ideal candidate holds NY licensure and 5–7 years of supervisory experience in institutional pharmacy, with strong collaboration with physicians and IT proficiency for formulary

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with NYS credentials.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in institutional pharmacy.
• Experience coordinating pharmacy services with clinical staff and regulators.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations in evenings, including dispensing, inventory, and staff scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory/accreditation requirements.
• Educate and supervise staff pharmacists; implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to monitor drug therapy and formulary decisions.
