Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Current Pharmacist license in New York State required, with additional certifications as needed.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience and 0–2 years of leadership/management experience.
• On-site work Monday–Friday 7am–3pm with on-call duties (rotating weekends).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates staff in planning pharmacy activities and maintains records.
• Reviews prescriptions for accuracy and issues, and dispenses medications.
• Oversees clinical specialty pharmacy operations and URAC accreditation activities.
• Maintains the Pharmacy computer system and prescription-related files.
• Supervises pharmacists and technicians in daily activities and medication preparation.
• Dispenses medications and reviews orders for completeness and interactions.
• Communicates with staff about warnings, drug compatibility, and related information.
• Supports leadership in QA and compliance with regulations.
• Provides consultation to patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
