The ideal candidate holds a NYS Pharmacist license and a PharmD or advanced degree, with strong communication skills and experience in hospital pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

NYS Pharmacist License and Registration.
BS Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy or Advanced Degree; Residency in Hospital Pharmacy Practice.

Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates Pharmacy Staff on overnight shift to ensure safe, cost-effective medication use.
Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and department policies.
Oversees automated dispensing machines and computerized applications; maintains system integrity.
Provides training and experiential mentorship for Pharmacy Residents and Students.
Evaluates performance and conducts competency assessments; handles HR actions as needed.
Partners with management to implement new programs, policies, and services.
