Job summary

BMCHS is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician in the Mail Order Pharmacy to support preparation and distribution of medications and maintain records. The role operates under pharmacists and the Technician Supervisor to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position is full-time with evening shifts, Monday through Friday 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, in the Boston area. Responsibilities include packaging, shipping medications, and monitoring automated systems, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-equivalent required.
• Must be registered with MA Board of Pharmacy by hire date.
• PTCB or exCPT certification, or within 6 months of start date.
• Pharmacy internship eligibility for students with 2 years education.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and performs medication fulfillment for central fill, traditional, and specialty prescriptions.
• Under supervision, supports department with safe, effective pharmacy services.
• Notifies pharmacists of malfunctioning equipment and unsafe conditions.
• Maintains professional competency and adheres to department policies.
• Adheres to BMCHS RESPECT behavioral standards.
