Job summary

Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, onsite in Memphis, TN, seeks a licensed pharmacist to interpret prescriptions, dispense medications, and manage pharmacy workflow. The role requires precise judgment, collaboration with departments, and a focus on safety and accuracy.

The position operates M-F 1:30–10:00 PM with alternating Saturdays and an off-Friday when Saturday is worked. ACPE PharmD or BS with license preferred for advancement and compliance support.

• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Advanced problem solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician orders to detect therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Monitors drug therapies and advises interventions.
• Organizes and directs technicians’ workflow, verifying preparation and labeling.
• Supervises the work results of support personnel.
• Maintains current registration and stays updated on legislation.
• Adheres to infection-control protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Keeps the working environment safe and compliant with rules.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
