Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a licensed pharmacist to interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications onsite in Memphis, TN. You will manage the fulfillment workflow and ensure regulatory compliance during evening shifts.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork across departments, with a focus on accuracy, patient safety and infection-control procedures. Friday off when working Saturday.

Qualifications

• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets prescriptions, compounds, and dispenses medications.
• Manages workflow in Fulfillment operations to ensure timely dispensing of patient orders.
• Reviews orders for therapeutic incompatibilities and safety concerns.
• Supervises technicians and directs their workflow and labeling.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and infection-control protocols.
• Keeps current registration and stays updated on legislation affecting practice.
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment and quality focus.
