Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) in Nixa, MO, to support residents with daily activities in a warm, home-like setting. Starting pay is $16–$17 per hour with full-time evenings shifts, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on residents’ lives.

You will work with a supportive care team, documenting care, ensuring safety, and promoting resident dignity and comfort in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
