Americare Senior Living is hiring a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home-like environment in Springfield, IL. You will help with daily activities, monitor safety, and document changes while working with a dedicated caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and provide dependable care.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR/BLS certifications are a plus (training available).
• Experience in caregiving is helpful but not required; compassionate presence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
