Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver for Evening Shifts in McDonough. You’ll provide compassionate in-home care to seniors, assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, and safety, while building meaningful relationships with clients and families.

You’ll set your own schedule, benefit from online training and CEUs, and enjoy a $200 sign-on bonus along with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and GA Personal Care Aide certification (Interim can assist with certification)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders and document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy such as puzzles, reading and hobbies
