Job summary
Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver to support seniors in the Springfield area. The role offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem options with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts to fit your life.
You will work with a 1:1 client ratio, enjoy flexible scheduling, online training with CEUs, weekly pay, PTO, and a 401(k) with company matching after 1 year. Join a nationwide home-care leader delivering compassionate, in-home care.
Qualifications
- PCA, CNA or HHA certification is required.
- Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility is needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to seniors to enable safe at-home living.
- Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
- Help with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor review.
- Ensure a safe home environment and engage clients with activities that bring joy.
