Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking an inventory and logistics support staff member for per diem evening shifts in the Supply Chain department. You will assist with day-to-day responsibilities, handle stock requests, and help ensure accurate reorder points and quantities to support on-hand inventory.

Responsibilities include counting and putting away supplies, using software to review stat cases and stock requests, collecting items for scheduled cases and shortages, and assisting the Control Planner

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Previous hospital work or mechanical experience preferred.
• Able to prioritize and work with constant interruptions.
• Good communication skills are desirable.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• The ability to be bonded at Hospital expense is required.

Responsibilities

• Handles material stock requests.
• Counts and puts away supplies for business unit to guarantee accuracy of reorder points and reorder quantities to support on-hand inventory
• Uses software to review stat cases and stock requests.
• Collects items for scheduled cases, emergency case carts, par level ordering, and staging orders. Documents/notifies Control Planner of shortages & discrepancies.
• Assists team lead in the cycle count.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
