Job summary

St. James Place of Baton Rouge is seeking an Assisted Living Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for full-time evening shifts. The role supports seniors with daily living activities, mobility, and companionship within a caring senior living community.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, CPR/First Aid certification, and prior experience in healthcare or home care. Starting wage is $12 per hour, with a schedule of 2p-10p, Monday through Friday and every other

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in healthcare or home care setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to assist with ADLs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provide health maintenance and monitoring tasks as needed and report changes.
• Escort residents to dining and assist with meals.
• Deliver compassionate care and maintain safety and well-being of residents.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
