Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc. is a family-owned home care agency serving clients since 1996. We are seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to deliver in-home eldercare on a full-time basis with shifts including Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am.

As a PCA you will help with ADLs, provide companionship, assist with mobility and medications, and document client progress. Training and PPE are provided to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in home care or healthcare setting
• Willingness to comply with all legal and institutional requirements
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide basic ADLs (meal prep, laundry, light housework)
• Provide companionship and engage client in conversation
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers
• Remind client to take medications
• Support personal hygiene and grooming
• Change bed linens regularly
• Assist with daily activities per client needs
• Provide caring, positive presence; respond quickly in emergencies
