Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
• Experience in janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and promptly transport patients, specimens, supplies, medical equipment and related items.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and report discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure proper body mechanics and safe transport using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain patient dignity and comfort, assist with transfers between beds, chairs and wheelchairs.
• Notify nursing staff or dispatchers of delays, changes, or arrival times as needed.
• Sanitize transport equipment after use and manage ambulatory access and safety.
