Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Part-Time Patient Transporters for 1st Shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. Responsible for safe, timely transport of patients, specimens and equipment to support care teams in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient identification, proper handling, adherence to safety guidelines, and coordinating with nursing and dispatcher staff. Requires high school diploma or GED and COVID-19 vaccination; post-offer screening and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial industry a plus.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients, specimens, supplies, medical equipment and items safely and timely.
• Verify patient identification and transport per policy and nursing directions.
• Use proper body mechanics; assist with transfers to wheelchairs/gurneys.
• Notify staff of delays or changes and ensure patient comfort and dignity.
