Qualifications

• Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transportation of patients, specimens, supplies, medical equipment and patient related items to their destination.
• Verifies correct patient identification by using two identifiers and compares with assignment information.
• Uses appropriate equipment and body mechanics to transport patients safely.
• Maintains patient dignity and comfort during transport and communicates with nursing staff.
• Notifies dispatcher of delays, changes or issues and ensures proper handoffs to receiving personnel.
