Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health through Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Per Diem Patient Transport team member for evening shifts. You will transport patients, assist clinical staff, and support operations within a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required certifications: AHA Heart Saver AED or BLS.
• Per Diem evening availability on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from clinical areas using wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Assists with transferring patients between beds, stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Delivers medications from the pharmacy as scheduled.
• Collects specimens, orders, requisitions and equipment and delivers to the appropriate destination.
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions promptly.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy.
