Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of Medical Office Assistant Program preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and service.
• Answer calls and schedule appointments; relay information.
• Complete patient admission and intake process.
• Explain exam preps and address questions.
• Collect copays; process payments per protocol.
• Assist technologists and staff as needed.
• Scan and route documents accurately.
• Ensure faxes are delivered promptly.
• Maintain records of outside reads and communicate results.
• Stock radiologic rooms and assist patients on/off exam tables.
• Coordinate with ARC physicians and referring physicians.
