Job summary

Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a Per Diem Patient Services/Patient Care Assistant to float and work evening shifts, supporting front desk duties and assisting the technologist with patient care. You will greet patients, coordinate with referring physicians, process admissions and copays, prep patients for exams, and help maintain clean radiology rooms and records.

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Office Assistant program preferred; 1–2 years of related experience may be

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Ability to assist patients on and off exam tables.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and exceptional service.
• Communicate with referring physicians, patients and staff by telephone to provide information and schedule appointments.
• Complete patient admission process accurately and efficiently.
