Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and guests.
• Register patients in a timely manner with demographic, insurance, and visit information; obtain signatures on documents.
• Complete check-in and admission functions based on service area.
• Conduct financial discussions including patient estimates and payment collections.
• Validate patient identity and apply patient safety armbands.
• Assist patients with state-required documentation and data entry.
• Answer department phones and transfer calls as needed.
• Explain and provide all required handouts.
