Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for hospital services per physician orders, including complex cases.
• Complete insurance verification for eligibility and benefits with payers.
• Complete preregistration of scheduled patients with demographics and insurance details.
• Complete prior authorizations and precertifications for identified services.
• Provide financial education and help estimate patient balances.
