Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Food Service Operations Rep at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. This part-time position covers the evening shift from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with rotation on every other weekend.

The role focuses on assembling, preparing, serving and delivering trays and meals to patients and other customers. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or pursuing one), strong English communication skills, basic arithmetic, and the ability to operate kitchen and

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent; able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and courteously via telephone, in person or in writing.
• Spanish language ability is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attends to patient, nursing and other customer food service requests in a friendly, patient, and customer-focused manner.
• Collects trays and other items for transport to Food Service.
• Assists in sanitation of department including pots, dish room, trash, floors and other cleaning as assigned.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
