Job summary

Trinity Health at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Food Service Operations Rep. The role involves assembling, preparing, serving, and delivering trays and meals to patients and staff, with rotating shifts and every-other-weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and courteously via telephone, in person or in writing.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple and moderately complex instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to speak and communicate in Spanish is desired.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.
• Ability to use common sense in carrying out written and oral instructions and solving problems.
• Ability to use kitchen, trayline and warewashing equipment.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose

The Food Service Operations Rep assembles, prepares, serves, and delivers trays, meals, and nourishments to patients, floors and other customers or clients. As a "Food Service Operations Rep" you will:

• Attends to patient, nursing and/or other customer food service and related requests, needs or requirements in a friendly, cheerful, patient and customer-focused manner.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $21.42 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
