Qualifications

• Reading, writing and mathematical skills are required.
• Skills and knowledge of nutrition services typically from 1–2 years of related experience.
• Food handlers' card required within 30 days of hire for BSS team members.

Responsibilities

• Visits patients to obtain or discuss menu selections and records daily choices.
• Edits patient menus and arranges meals according to dietary orders.
• Delivers meals and handles special requests with good customer service.
• Maintains sanitation standards and assists with tray setup and service.
• Interacts with patients, families and health-care staff to ensure satisfaction.
