Job summary

Banner Health's Food Service Team Member role at Sun City West supports cleaning, food preparation, patient trayline and retail cafe operations while upholding portion control, quality and sanitation standards. You’ll help maintain food and supply levels, deliver meals to patient units and serve patients, families and staff with excellent customer service.

Shift is primarily 4:00pm-12:30am, five days per week with weekend and holiday rotation; a weekend differential applies.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and follow established policy and procedures.
• Read and understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• POS (cash register) when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Sets up work station and prepares all assigned foods and nourishments in the correct quantities, following procedures, portion control and quality standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils and kitchen areas; monitors dish machine temperature.
