Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services Aide to support patient meal service. You will answer phones in the call center, assemble patient trays, clean and sanitize dishes and equipment, deliver and pick up meal trays, and manage stock.

Training provided to grow your skills. Evening shift with a 22.5-hour workweek plus opportunities to learn and advance within the Nutrition Services team.

Qualifications

• No experience required - you will be fully trained and supported to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines and ensures proper storage and dating of items.
• Serves food, replenishes, and cleans food stations after use.
• Operates the cash register and processes payments, balancing cash at shift end.
• Performs routine and heavy cleaning, including dishwashing and equipment maintenance.
• Sets up and delivers food carts and assembles patient trays for delivery.
• Monitors temperatures and quality, reporting malfunctions to management.
