Corewell Health is hiring for a part-time Nutrition Services position at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. Work 3:30 p.m.–8 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with every other weekend. Job includes answering calls, assembling patient trays, cleaning, delivering meals, and stock management.

Qualifications

• CRT-Work Permit required for High School Student Employees

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines with dishes, utensils, condiments and cold items; stores and dates items properly.
• Serves food, replenishes items, cleans stations and equipment after use.
• Operates cash register and handles payments; balances cash and deposits money.
• Cleans dishes and equipment; maintains sanitary conditions and proper storage.
• Sets up and delivers patient trays; verifies patient room numbers and names to ensure correct delivery.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities by recording temperatures and other QA checks.
