Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services aide in Ludington, MI to support patient meal service. You will assist in answering calls in the nutrition call center, assemble patient trays, clean and sanitize dishes and equipment, and deliver meals to patient rooms.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided to grow in the role. Responsibilities include maintaining serving lines, handling cash for meals, and ensuring food safety and accuracy on each tray.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, utensils, and food items.
• Assembles cold items like salads and desserts with proper storage and dating.
• Serves and replenishes food, cleans stations after use.
• Operates cash register and handles payments with accuracy.
• Cleans equipment and maintains sanitary conditions through daily tasks.
• Delivers patient trays and verifies patient details for correct delivery.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities related to food safety and service.
