Memorial Hermann is seeking a dedicated patient liaison to connect patients and families with hospital staff, guiding them through policies and procedures while actively resolving concerns. The role emphasizes safety, compassionate service, and adherence to hospital standards.

Average shift is Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–9:30pm, focusing on high-contact customer service in a healthcare setting and opportunities to mentor others within the department.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years healthcare experience with problem solving and high customer contact.
• Licenses/Certifications: None specified.

Mansioni

• Serve as a designated liaison between patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians in resolving patient concerns.
• Interpret and explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and families.
• Investigate and actively seek resolution to problems and concerns identified by patients/families.
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adhere to Memorial Hermann policies and standards within budget, time, supplies, productivity and quality of service.
• Promote professional growth by meeting mandatory/continuing education requirements, supporting department goals, and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
