Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Patient Access Team Lead for an Evening shift (Thu–Sat, 2:00 PM–2:30 AM) at Baptist South. You will oversee daily access operations, oversee registration and scheduling, and monitor insurance verification and financial clearance to ensure accurate patient intake and revenue cycle performance.

The role requires 3–5 years of patient access or revenue cycle experience and leadership background, with Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Patient Access, registration, scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, financial clearance, or revenue cycle experience required.
• Prior lead, supervisory, training, or formal leadership experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access operations, including registration, scheduling support, and pre-registration.
• Monitor insurance verification, financial clearance, and point-of-service collection activities to support accurate patient intake and revenue cycle performance.
• Coordinate staffing and workflows to maintain operational coverage, including weekend coverage support.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership support and escalate complex registration, financial clearance, and patient access issues as needed.
• Promote a culture of exceptional patient experience, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
