Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Data entry at 50–60 keystrokes per minute; 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient with multiple software programs and EMR systems; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Authenticate patient identity during all essential functions.
• Register patients by interviewing to collect data and create EMR.
• Assign payor/guarantor to ensure prompt billing and HIPAA compliance.
• Obtain and scan required documents (ID, insurance, consent, assignment of benefits, etc.).
