Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Account Specialist for an evening shift at our Silvis, IL site. The role supports outpatient and inpatient registration, insurance verification, and collection of patient financial liability, with Medicare pre-certifications and referrals as needed.

The schedule requires 24 hours per week, 1500-2330, every other weekend and some holidays, with options for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Entry level position. Minimum one (1) year customer service experience.
• Patient Access experience preferred.
• Additional minimum qualification of two plus (2+) years hospital registration or insurance verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs outpatient & inpatient registration & insurance verification.
• Collects patient financial liability payments and ensures financial requirements are met.
• Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.
