Responsibilities

• Interviews patient to obtain identification information and required forms.
• Collects Demographic, Guarantor, Next of Kin, and Emergency Contact information.
• Verifies current insurance coverage and identification.
• Enter COB information to ensure payment.
• Scan documents into Electronic Document Imaging system.
• Enter patient data into EHR and balance daily receipts.
• Communicate with departments to facilitate patient care and payment.
• Attend departmental staff meetings and support management initiatives.
